Advent: A Journey Toward Light

Celebrate the lighting of the Christ Candle — the heart of Advent. Reflect on the meaning of Christ’s light, listen to peaceful carols, and rest in divine love this Christmas.

Advent Week 5: The Christ Candle

At last, we come to the center — the quiet glow that completes the circle of light.
The Christ Candle is lit, radiant and steady, symbolizing the birth of Light into the world.

Throughout Advent, we have kindled candles of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love — and now, in this final week, all those flames are gathered into one. The Christ Candle reminds us that everything we’ve been waiting for, longing for, and preparing for is found here — in the mystery of divine presence made known in human form.

The coming of Christ is more than a story from long ago; it’s a continual invitation. In every place where darkness lingers, light still comes. In every heart that feels weary or forgotten, Love still arrives — quietly, faithfully, tenderly.

This final candle isn’t meant to shine alone. Its light fills and completes the circle, uniting all the others. It tells us that Christ’s light is already within and among us, still shining through every act of compassion, every prayer whispered in faith, every choice to love when it would be easier not to.

As Christmas approaches, may this light remind you that you are part of the story — beloved, seen, and carried by the same Love that first broke through the night.

A Moment of Stillness

Take a moment to gaze at the candlelight — one flame, yet many reflections.
Notice how it softens everything it touches.
This is what Love does. This is what Light does.

Let the Christ Candle remind you that even when the season ends, its light remains — within your home, your heart, and the world you help brighten every day.

May your Christmas be filled with warmth, stillness, and the simple joy of knowing you are deeply loved.
