I’ve been gently refining what beauty looks like for me. And lately, it’s less about covering and more about accentuating. I’m not much of a full foundation-and-powder routine kind of gal. I just want to highlight a few features and feel like myself… just a touch more polished.
I found Honeybee Gardens about 10 years ago and have recently returned to their products. I am really drawn to their softer, more natural approach. Here’s what’s currently in my cart:
• A refillable eyeshadow compact with mostly cool, neutral tones (like Ballet and Canterbury for everyday softness) and a deeper plum like Daredevil that can double as a subtle liner.
• A mascara for simple, clean definition. I use the color Black Lace because I lean Cool to Neutral. But they have warmer colors available.
• A lipstick in “Goddess”—a cool, classic berry tone (not quite red, but still timeless)
I love that their shadows are highly pigmented, blendable, and long-lasting, while still leaning toward a cleaner ingredient profile.
It feels like a quiet return to simplicity… choosing products that enhance rather than overwhelm.
