Lists. Plans. Big intentions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The calendar flipped to January 1st and I was all in.<br><strong>New Year, New Me<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2014 enthusiastic and wholehearted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">But enthusiasm alone is not sustenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And after a couple of tough years where life felt more like \u201cpersonal problems\u201d than personal progress \u2014 layered with a global pandemic that collectively reshaped us \u2014 something in me shifted. One Word for the Year (or Season)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Resolution lists overwhelm.<br>A single word centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">A word can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">orient attention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">shape choices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">anchor decisions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">remind us who we\u2019re becoming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">It doesn\u2019t demand perfection \u2014 only presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Values &amp; Vision as North Star<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Values are my&nbsp;<strong>why.<\/strong><br>Vision is my&nbsp;<strong>where.<\/strong><br>Systems are the&nbsp;<strong>how.<\/strong><br>Identity is the&nbsp;<strong>who.<\/strong><br>My word is the&nbsp;<strong>tone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Aligned, these become a compass \u2014 gentle, but unwavering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A Year in Gentle Touchpoints<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Instead of one aggressive New Year push, I\u2019m marking the year in seasonal pauses \u2014 moments to review, realign, and return to myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Dec 30 \u2014 Before the Year Turns<\/strong><br><strong>Jan 03 \u2014 After the Dust Settles<\/strong><br><strong>Late Jan \u2014 One-Month Reflection<\/strong><br><strong>Early March \u2014 Pre-Spring Reset<\/strong><br><strong>Mid-May \u2014 Pre-Summer Review<\/strong><br><strong>Mid-August \u2014 Transition into Fall<\/strong><br><strong>Early November \u2014 Before the Holiday Season<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Not resolutions \u2014 rhythms.<br>Not pressure \u2014 presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Change becomes something I&nbsp;<em>tend<\/em>, not something I
